A quick history lesson
The Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park is owned and operated by Sam and Dana Mitchell. Originally opened in 1992 in Parndana, Sam and Dana purchased the park in 2013. In December 2024 the wildlife park moved to an exciting new location on the South coast. Sam, Dana and their teams are passionate about wildlife and conservation, supporting it through the Wildlife Park and Raptor Domain.
